CORE MODULE DESCRIPTION

This core module provides participants with a detailed walkthrough of sea and air freight in a Pakistani context. It presents the country’s sea and air infrastructure, laying out the various options available for prospective exporters, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. It then moves on to a discussion of Incoterms and their role in international trade, providing a number of practical exercises on how to use them effectively. Finally, it concludes by outlining the legal responsibilities and obligations of Pakistani exporters.

Once participants have completed this core module, they will be able to:

 Assess how Pakistan’s sea and air infrastructure facilitates international trade;
 Identify the most promising sea and air freight options for their cargo;
Practically use Incoterms in a variety of situations; and
 Gain an effective understanding of their legal responsibilities and obligations.
