CORE MODULE DESCRIPTION

This core module details the procedures to export products from Pakistan, from business registration to clearing Customs, and provides participants with the framework necessary to understand the national export regulations of Pakistan for all categories of goods. Through a series of practical exercises, including completing sample forms, practicing identifying HS Codes, learning to use the Export Policy Order and avoiding pitfalls in customs clearance procedures, participants will gain the tools necessary to confidently navigate the various processes necessary to comply with the export regulatory framework of Pakistan.

Once participants have completed this core module, they will be able to:

 Complete a variety of Pakistani export registration forms and identify common mistakes when doing so;
 Use Pakistan’s Export Policy Order to effectively consult regulations and requirements to export; and
Use the Pakistan Customs Tariff to identify basic chapter headings for a variety of goods, and use the General Rules of Interpretation to interpret HS codes within a Pakistani context; and
 Identify the process by which Pakistan Customs clears cargo and plan for various potential contingencies based on this.

  • Module 2: Understanding Pakistan’s Export Regulatory Framework and its Purpose
  • Module 3: Understanding The Harmonized System (HS Codes) & The Pakistan Customs Tariff
  • Module 4: Pakistan Customs' Export Procedures and Processes

Please note that in order to access any of the sub-modules above, you need to enrol to the core module.
